QFI and BibliASPA

QFI has partnered with BibliASPA (Biblioteca e Centro de Pesquisa América do Sul-Países Árabes; South America-Arab Countries Library and Research Center) by supporting Arabic Language and Culture Programs in Sao Paulo and Curitiba, Brazil for high school-aged students in schools in and around these two cities. Meet Paulo Farah, President of BibliASPA, and other people behind the program in this short video. Founded in 2003, BibliASPA's mission is to develop socio-cultural and economic activities in South America, especially in Brazil, and in Arab countries.

Qatari, Brazilian students build bridges of culture

A group of Qatari and Brazilian students yesterday toured Souq Waqif, despite the cold weather as a first step to learn how to use photography and video to communicate their ideas. The students who are in a 10-day cultural exchange trip organised by the Qatar Foundation International (QFI), will learn about digital story telling from National Geographic photographers.
