QFI’s support during COVID-19

Distance learning while social distancing? With its partners, QFI provides free and accessible resources and online sessions for Arabic language, professional development, virtual exchange, and lesson plans about the Arabic world.

Look through Al Masdar to find resources. We will continue to add to our resource list and we encourage educators to submit new resources to our Open-Education Resource platform or email your resource to arabic@qfi.org.

We have opened several of our educator grants for immediate applications that we will review on a rolling basis for educators who need urgent access to new online resources or professional development. Visit our website to learn more about our Classroom Resource Enrichment Grants (CREGs)Maharaat GrantsTeacher Professional Development Grants, and MEOC Book Awards (please view the grant announcement for the list of MEOC titles that are available as e-books).

Lastly, we are hosting a webinar series for educators who are transitioning to teaching online. Please email arabic@qfi.org to be added to our distribution list for webinar announcements.
