Webinar: Creating Virtual Trips to the Arab World

In this webinar, Joe shows teachers how they can set up virtual visits to the Arab world. He introduces participants to Google tour creator and shows them how to put together the visit and add sound commentary and images. Joe’s journey starts at Khan El Khalili and Feshawi’s coffee shop in Cairo takes in the Umayyad Mosque in Damascus and ends up in the Djema al Fna in Marrakesh.

By the end of the session, some of the participants had already started their virtual tours with one teacher sharing a trip to her town in Algeria and another preparing a visit for her students to the Qasba in Tunis and a well-known restaurant.

Joe is an independent languages consultant from the UK and a recognized expert on technology and language learning. He is a regular conference speaker and has contributed to many events and conferences organized by QFI and British Council.
