
Designing Interactive Lessons for the Virtual Language Classroom with Culturingua
The session was moderated by QFI’s Director of Programs, Julia Sylla, and led by QFI nonprofit partner Culturingua’s leadership team, Nadia Mavrakis, Nader Mehdawi, and Cindy Dorsey. They shared their experience designing and delivering engaging Arabic, Spanish, and French courses following ACTFL standards.

- Research-based frameworks to design engaging and interactive activities using different levels of technology for the synchronous or asynchronous virtual classroom
- Hands-on interactive virtual Arabic example lesson
