Online Seminar: Movement and Games in the Arabic Classroom in German
You don’t only learn with your head! Movement and games increase brain activity, improve learning success – and simply put you in a good mood! Especially during COVID shutdowns, it is all the more important to combine online learning with exercise breaks and loosen up with active games.
How can this be achieved – even if the lessons mostly take place in front of the screen and space is limited at home?
Our speakers will show you how it can be done: with simple tips, exercises, and examples that you can use in your Arabic lessons!
Session facilitators:
1- Carmen Kohlfürst, former head of language and advanced training at the Doha Language Center and the German program at Hamad bin Khalifa University in Education City, currently working as a freelance trainer and seminar leader
2- Paula Rötscher, Arabic teacher at the Salzmannschule Schnepfenthal and Arabic lecturer at the University of Erfurt and the Volkshochschule Würzburg.
*This online seminar took place on Friday, January 15, 2021; and was hosted in the German language.
