Oxford and QFI are hosting a two-day forum for researchers and practitioners at the Department of Education, University of Oxford, UK on 11th-12th July 2024, which aims to bridge the gap between research and practice. We want to bring together key stakeholders from the AL2 community to discuss the findings of Oxford's systematic reviews and to consider actionable implications and next steps for teaching and learning AL2 in schools.
We are looking for people who are interested in attending and who are currently any of the following:
We are particularly keen to hear from people who would be interested in carrying out or supporting future research into teaching and learning AL2 in school classrooms. This could be, for example, teachers who are interested in carrying out action research or academics who are interested in partnering with schools.
Attendance at our forum will be free of charge and will be by invitation only. If you are interested in attending, we would like to hear from you! Please click the button at the bottom of this screen to complete the registration of interest form by Monday 8th April (5pm UK time). We will be in touch soon with more information, including the cost of attendance.
