A Message from Qatar Foundation International - QFI to Wind Down Operations

Since its founding in 2009, QFI has set out to elevate Arabic language education to its rightful place among the world’s most professionally taught and widely accessible languages. Throughout this work, QFI has remained steadfastly focused on educational quality and professional standards working to strengthen the capacity and infrastructure needed to sustain Arabic language learning in schools. We have partnered with teachers, schools, administrators, universities, and policymakers to close critical gaps and together, we have delivered support to 112 schools across six countries, training to more than 2,500 teachers, and helped over 20,000 students learn about, understand, and benefit from the Arabic language and Arab culture. 

We are immensely proud of what QFI has achieved, and we hope that this legacy and the programs, partnerships, and communities who now carry it forward, will continue to advance Arabic language education and inspire future generations of learners.
