Looking Back, Moving Forward: Arabic Language Resources

As QFI reflects on nearly two decades of advancing Arabic language education, we continue to celebrate educators, students, schools, researchers, and partners along with the work that has strengthened our community.

This week we are highlighting available resources for Arabic language educators, including Chatty Mats, Schemes of Work, and a new blog featuring reflections and resources for Arabic education in the UK.

Chatty Mats

QFI's collection of downloadable Arabic language chatty mats provides educators with ready-to-use classroom materials that reinforce vocabulary and support language development across a range of topics.

This resource is available in German, Spanish, Swedish, English, and Italian. They cover topics such as basic questions and phrases, as well as fillers, verb tenses, and classroom words that address the teacher or games.

Study Plans: Building Strong Foundations in Arabic Learning

Schemes of work provide a structured learning pathway for students in the early stages of learning Arabic. They support the development of Arabic language skills and prepare students for future study, including GCSE Arabic.

Together, they offer a flexible framework that helps educators create engaging, communicative, and well-supported Arabic learning experiences.
