Latrecia Wilson

Since 2010, Latrecia has played various leadership roles in support of the Foundation’s mission to build a wider community of educators and learners for greater access to Arabic and deeper understanding of the Arab world, including now as Acting Executive Director.

Since her start at QFI, she has provided guidance and counsel on the operational aspects of QFI’s programs as well as played a key role in restructuring the organization’s operational, financial, and grant-making infrastructure.   Prior to joining QFI, she served as the Senior Manager for Finance and Administration at the International Institute of Education, where she managed the multi-year, multi-country budgets ($30M+ per award year) of the Fulbright Scholar Program.  She also worked for Save Darfur Coalition, managing a $20-$40 million budget that supported awareness of the Darfur region in Southern Sudan through local grassroots micro-grants and international grants to NGOs based in Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East.

Latrecia holds both a Master of Science in Accounting, as well as a Master of Public Administration with concentration in Public Analysis, both from American University. She graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a bachelor’s degree in English and a concentration in Peace Studies.
