Savannah Soter

Research Associate

As QFI’s Research Associate, Savannah administers and supports a portfolio of research for the teaching and learning of the Arabic language. Previously Savannah worked on the Ahlan Simsim program at Sesame Workshop and as a project manager in the translation industry. She is passionate about expanding access to education and the intersections of media, social-emotional learning, and language learning. 

Savannah holds a BA from American University in International Studies and Arab World Studies. During her time in college, she studied Arabic with CIL in Oman and CET in Jordan. She also recently completed a six-month intensive program with Qasid Arabic Institute in Amman prior to joining QFI.
