Unsolicited requests are requests for funding that do not fit the eligibility for QFI’s established grants programs but that contribute to our mission and vision. QFI reviews unsolicited proposals through our online grant application portal here.
Examples of projects or resources that have been considered for funding in the past include, but are not limited to, workshops for teachers of Arabic on a specific topic that meets an unmet need or in a particular region, support for the creation of Arabic language teaching or learning materials that will be available for free to the education community, or special classroom projects to enhance the teaching and learning of Arabic or to connect Arabic language classrooms to enhance collaborative learning.
